An international customer from Europe and the United States visited HAOSEN's partner factory last week to conduct a pre-shipment inspection of a PP valve bag making machine. Accompanied by HAOSEN General Manager Philip and Sales Manager Allen, the customer reviewed every station from unwinding to finished-bag take-up, recording the process on camera and giving repeated thumbs-up throughout the demonstration.
Preparation: Final Commissioning and Technical Review
The HAOSEN team arrived at the factory one day ahead of the customer visit. Factory technicians completed final commissioning to ensure the machine would run at optimal condition during inspection. Meanwhile, Philip sat down with the factory's engineering team for a detailed technical review — going through the machine's design structure, component specifications, and process parameters on screen, from the unwinding station and valve-patch application to the ultrasonic welding and AI inspection sections.
This pre-inspection technical session is standard practice at HAOSEN: before a customer sees the machine, the HAOSEN team has already verified every setting, anticipated potential questions, and confirmed that the line is configured to the customer's bag specifications.
A Drone, an Alarm, and a Demonstration of Sensitivity
The day before the inspection also included a drone photo and video shoot for marketing materials. What happened next was unplanned — but revealing. The drone's downdraft was strong enough to blow the test bags on the conveyor out of alignment. The machine's deviation correction system and color-mark tracker immediately detected the shift and triggered alarms.
Rather than seeing this as a problem, the team recognized it as evidence of the machine's responsiveness: the sensors caught a misalignment that human eyes might miss and stopped the line before defective bags could be produced. After re-commissioning, the drone was repositioned to fly horizontally from behind the machine, capturing aerial footage without interfering with operation.
Inspection Day: Every Station, Every Detail
On inspection day, the team divided into two groups. Philip and Allen personally drove to pick up the customer, while the rest of the team arrived early at the factory to set up lighting and camera equipment for documenting the process.
When the customer arrived, the machine was started on schedule. Walking alongside the running line, the customer examined and filmed each station in sequence:
- Unwinding and tension control
- Valve-patch and bottom-patch application
- Ultrasonic welding stations
- AI visual inspection and automatic rejection
- Finished bag stacking and output
The customer asked detailed questions about build quality, component brands, parameter settings, and maintenance access — and gave clear nods and thumbs-up at multiple stations. After the run, the customer joined Philip, Allen, and the factory manager for a group photo.
